Hi Board

I m making an effort to come out of HSMP which was getting a little too monotonous (no offence)

Simple Quetion: If a person is on WHM, can he travel to any European country without a visa?? (the person in question is from a visa national country). I am asking this because I was told by a friend that this was the case and that a WHM Visa holder does not require a schenegan visa. Is that true? Any links saying anything in this regard?

Thanks in advance..

No. The WHM is a UK specific visa and offers no benefit for travel in the EU/EEA apart from evidence of your lega status in the UK. The exception to this is Switzerland which has a policy in place allowing anyone holding a UK visa initially issued with more than 6 mths validity and valid on the date of departure (ppt to be valid too) from Switzerland visa free travel. Depending on your nationality you may or may not require a visa to travel to designated Schengen country/ies.
