nm Junior Member Member # 1713 | Posted January 24, 2002 03:47 PM Hi My friend is helping me to get a job in Ireland in IT sector. He is trying to get work visa for me rather then work permit. I am also told that once i got a job offer, I would get work visa for 2 years and this complete process takes 2 to 3 weeks. Is it so easy if I have a job offer in Ireland? Plus once i get a work visa for 2 years, Can can I change my employement on the same work visa? |

and yes, you can change employers as long as you work in IT area. better be quick - we (IT employees in Ireland) are trying to understand what happens to these visas in May, when they are supposed to start extending those visas (the visas were introduced less than 2 years ago). there are even talks that the program could be discontinued. |
