| erv Junior Member Member # 1801 | Posted January 30, 2002 12:37 AM hello, i am ervin and i live in australia and my girlfriend lives in France. what kind of visa can i get so that i can stay in France for a long period of time and i can also work. i am learning how to speak French. i work in retail, graphic arts and i am an actor. | Elfa Member Member # 5 | Posted January 30, 2002 03:59 PM Hi Erv If you are an actor, you may be eligible to apply for a temporary artisan's visa for France which would allow you to work as a self-employed artist. Your only other options to work there would be if you had a job offer and employer sponsorship, or married your girlfriend (if she is French)!
