Hi,

my company is getting me a van der elst visa to go to germany on a 5 month duration software development project. During this period of secondment, my salary will continue to be paid in UK (where I am currently on a Work Permit)and my tax deducted at source - would I need to pay any additional income tax in Germany also?

Any inputs on this would really be appreciated.

Hi,

As you will continue to pay your taxes in the UK, and both Germany and the UK are EU countries, you won't have to pay taxes in Germany.

Best wishes
