erv Junior Member Member # 1801 | Posted February 19, 2002 01:07 AM i am a 24 year male, resides in sydney and wants to move to france. i work as a retail consultant/ graphic designer / actor. i have a girlfriend in france that i will be living with ... but we are not thinking of getting married soon ... i love her dearly. is it possible for me to just apply for a migration visa from Australia to France. i am aurtalian, has a australian passport, an australian citizenship and loads of working skills. please help -------------------- erv |

If you were married to your French girlfriend, then you could get a long-stay visa for France. If you qualify as an artist, you may be able to get an artisan's visa...the French Consulate General in Sydney might be a good place to start: St-Martins Tower Hope this helps!
