Hello. I've recently completed my Masters in Mathematics here in America, and have teaching certification as well as some experience teaching high school math. I'm interested in moving to Ireland and looking for employment. My question is this- I imagine I would have to get local (Irish) teaching certification. Would I be able to just catch a flight to Dublin, rent an apartment and look for work there? I think it would be much easier to look for work when actually in the country. Also if you have any suggestions as to a better way to go about this, let me know. And do you think I'd have any difficulty finding employment/ work permits? Thanks.

it takes about 4 months to issue a WP here provided that your skills are in demand, which should be confirmed by a government agency - www.fas.ie
