Hi,

I am a non-EU; I want to get a job in Spain as University lecturer in the IT field. I did a M.Sc. in the UK and I have several years experience as University lecturer as well. I was just reading that for this specific job apply some special conditions?? Is it true, can you give me some information about this issue??

Thank you very much in advance.

Hi,

Sorry for being slow to respond to your inquiry. There are a number of preferential categories of foreigners applying for Spanish work permits, for example, those who have a Spanish spouse, specialists hired to set up imported maichinery, top executives and others. I am not sure whether University professors would also be regarded as one of the preferential groups, but may wish to check with the Spanish Consulate General in London (20 Draycott Place, London SW3 2RZ, Tel. 020 75898989).

Greetings
