Gery Junior Member Member # 3496 | Posted May 19, 2002 04:55 PM Dear all, In a year time I'll have been in a lawful possessioon of a Dutch work permit for three years. However, since after the issuance of my work permit it took about 2.5 months before I got my MVV and could start work, I will not have been working in the contry for three full years. Does this mean that I cannot qualify for a permanent residence/work permit? Thank you all, Gery |
Elfa Member Member # 5 | Posted June 04, 2002 02:32 PM Dear Gery Thank you for your posting. I believe you must be RESIDENT and WORKING on a work permit for a full three years before you qualify to work in the Netherlands without a work permit that is tied to a particular employer. Hope this helps! Elfa -------------------- Elfa Kere, Consultant |
