Hary Junior Member Member # 3118 | Posted June 11, 2002 07:07 AM Hi, I got work visa for Ireland..I mean my passport got stamped from Irish Embassy. I am leaving for Ireland on 21st June 2002. My Salary is very less compare to my qualification, I just want to know how is the possibility of getting a new job?? How is the Irish Market for IT people and as I know in EU Ireland is the best country got less unemployment and better prospects in IT. And can I know the good place to live and less expensive??? Appreciate your comments.. Thanks Hary |
nm Junior Member Member # 1713 | Posted June 11, 2002 09:46 AM Market condition is not very good. If you are on work visa, you can change your employment but it's hard to find a job until you have got more then 5 years of experience in very demanding skill. Good Luck! |

Hary Junior Member Member # 3118 | Posted June 12, 2002 08:27 AM Hey Witt You are wrong. I got 7 years experience in IT feild. I do have vey good experience with ORACLE, SQL I do work with ASP. I do work with JSP. I do very good with Most of the designing tools. And by the by I am appointed for a salary of 3500 Euro and accomodation and I think this not that bad according to Market..will try to get a good opportunity too. And onemore thing you never ever comment on anything without knowledge and you don't even know me who i am ..and how you know I get paid very less??? Anyway thanks for your reply.. Take care [ June 12, 2002: Message edited by: Hary ] |
Witt Member Member # 567 | Posted June 12, 2002 11:21 AM You said you are paid not well Ireland is not UK, you won't get here more than you have now... on the other hand - at least oracle is still worth something on this job market. If you do not like my comments - do not read them and simply try to find another job even if you will, I bet that prospective employer will not consider you a loyal employee (you dump your previousv employer very fast after they brought you here). |
