In one post it has been mentioned that they can work for 20 hours/week whereas i have learned that they can only work for a total of 90 days per year. What are actually the correct rules??? |
Marcis Member Member # 4 | Posted June 19, 2002 02:15 PM Hi, Foreign students who are enrolled at a German University may work up to 20 hours per week during the semester, and full time between semesters, if I am correct. As regards the 90 days limit, I'm not sure. Maybe that refers to the total number of days per year that you are allowed to work full time in Germany as a student. As far as I know, every German University has a students council (AStA) which offers good 'hands on' advice for foreign students. So I would really recommend you to contact them for further advice once you're in Germany. Best regards, Marcis Gobins, Consultant -------------------- Marcis Gobins, Consultant |
