Hi there,

I have been working in Holland for 2.5 years. Thanx to the Post OFfice losing my papers, I need to renew my working permit. I still possess a residence permit, though. Does anyone know what the procedure is for renewing my working permit?

Thanx!

Your WP is tried to your job. It's is usually good for 3 years. I never heard of anyone renewing the wp.

Usually your job does this for you.

Hello Balazs,

If a Dutch Arbeidsbureau has granted you a work permit and it's only about the post office losing the only existing hard copy of the permit, you/your employer can surely contact the relevant Arbeidsbureau that has granted your permit and ask them to issue a duplicate. No doubt, they should have your case filed, so if it's only about a piece of paper - don't worry. Send them a fax, and they'll post you a fresh copy.

Remélem, ez lesz hasznos Önre.

Minden jót,
