Hi, I am a chinese software developer currently working in Dublin,Ireland. I got working visa 2 years ago and now it is time for me to renew it also to think about where to go in the future.

Currently the informations I know about immigration to Ireland are from friends only. Someone said working continuely for 4 yrs to get PR and one extra year for citizenship, they can not confirm it.

So my question is:
What's the irish government's police to provide permenent residence and citizenship?
Official document or URL from government would be excellent.

Thanks,
LYZheng
