Friends,

This is my third question in series.

I am a Chemical Engineer with 5 years experience from India. I can immigrate to Canada which may take almost three years time if I apply right now. I have another option - one consultant has offered to arrange work-permit of ireland for me, but he is charging 2.5 lakh rupees for it. Also, I have to find job at my own (he may assist only) after landing in Ireland.

Which option is better for me? Please elaborate your answers.

As I said in your other post the Ireland option he is offering you is Illegal. 3 years may seem like a long time but at least when you get to Canada it would through legal channels and you could live your life honestly.

Another thing you might might want to consider is that here in Canada it is multi cultural. There is a huge Indian community where you would find support and feel quite at home. In Ireland there are not many different cultures and if you are there illegally I doubt very much that people would be as welcoming.

Dear Dipal Patel ,

If you have chance to get legal & real job as i think you must go out of your country otherwise nobody knows what would be the condition of Canada or its immigrations laws after 3 years.

Take care,
Kumar.

Canada is one of the wealthiest countries in the world and is always open to legal immigration. Not much will change in 3 years I can assure you, even if they change the point system if he applies now he goes by the rules today not 3 years from now.

We are a nation built on immigration and all are welcome here. If you had understood what he said the Ireland option is being offered to him illegally not legally therefore I suggested he try Canada.

Thanks Elisa,

Your opinion has encouraged me to apply for Canada immigration. I hope we shall meet there.

Dipal.

Dipal:

I don't know if you've done enough research on dif countries in Europe plus US/Canada/OZ/NZ, between Ireland and Canada, it's no brainer, Canada, main reasons:

1. Quick time frame of getting citizenship: Once you live here 3 years, you can apply for Canadian citizenship, it'll give you peace of mind. In most EU states, unless you marry an EU citizen, getting natuarlized may be next to impossible.

2. Wide open spaces: don't like crowds? Come to Canada, Europe is already overcrowded.

3. Open society: I'm not saying there's no racism in Canada, but overall the society is open to people of any race/religion/nationality, you can walk on the street and feel safe and relaxed. Not so in most part of Europe, in fact, in Northern Ireland, they're trying to kick all color people out to keep N Ireland all white, you can be attacked even at home, so think about these and do some research befor you even think of coming to Ireland (or Europe as a whole).

Hi Mr. Patel,
If you get canada immigration then thats best..but till that time if you get a working visa for ireland without paying i mean working visa not work permit..working visa you can change and find a job here and you can change your employer anytime...but in work permit you cant change your job without accuring a new workpermit from new employer.work visa restricted to special catagories like computing, nurses, doctors, townplanning, civil engineers where less qualified people in ireland..and for the last reply n.ireland is not in ireland country ruled under UK.
I live in ireland last 3 and half years ..basically from india..love life here..anything else let me know where i can help you out..but i dont prefer to support that you pay for getting a work visa
thanks
