I hold a 5-year leave-to-remain with 60-month work permit in the UK. If the job contract with the current employer is terminated earlier and I haven't found another job, I believe I can still legally stay in this country, as long as I don't work illegally.

The problem is that if I reside in the UK for 4 years, and more than 2 years are unempolyed, am I still entitled to permanent residence (indefinite leave-to-remain)?

What are the documents needed for applying for the Permanent Residence?

Anyone can help???

Gustave

No. You need to be in employment before you apply for ILR and you need to bring a letter from your employers that you will still be employed with them in the future.
