| Renoir Junior Member Member # 2337 | Posted October 04, 2002 07:38 PM I hold a 5-year leave-to-remain with 60-month work permit in the UK. If the job contract with the current employer is terminated earlier and I haven't found another job, I believe I can still legally stay in this country, as long as I don't work illegally. The problem is that if I reside in the UK for 4 years, and more than 2 years are unempolyed, am I still entitled to permanent residence (indefinite leave-to-remain)?
