Those who are working as an IT professional this law is also for them ?or just for those who are fresh applicants. 2 : Is there also such a possible situation to get P/Res status for those who are working as an IT professional from the last one or two years.... ? |
sofastsoslow Junior Member Member # 6236 | Posted December 18, 2002 03:46 PM The law is deemed unconstitutional, so it affects all who are not citizen, so yes it affects who have worked in Germany for 1 or 2 years. |

Thorsten von Thyssen Member Member # 4397 | Posted December 19, 2002 12:24 AM I am coming from a German family and I totally don't understand you. Why do you try so hard to make it into Germany? You will never be accepted or tolerated there nor will your descendants be. Learn from the Jewish experience. Jews lived in Germany for more than thousand years, helped a lot to its prosperity only to be persecuted and exterminated. Go to more tolerant countries like the UK or the USA. Don't force yourself on Germany. -------------------- ----------------------------------- |
Alligatorz Member Member # 6198 | Posted December 19, 2002 01:43 AM well well well... TNAVON just said some thing that probably needs attention. I am not going to criticize to your reply, however, I feel that people who are not from third world countries do not know much about what it means to find an opportunity and then work hard towards it for better economic and social benefits. These are the luxuries that only few people enjoy in the third world countries. The simple equation: In short, it does not matter whether people in Germany would accept aliens, aliens would still flock to Germany, if laws permit that. Secondly, if I look it from the point of the German nation, I think it is about time that people in Germany practice realizing the positive affects of globalization. The formation of European union is one step towards it, Euro is just one example of its usability. |
Bobblewait Member Member # 6527 | Posted December 20, 2002 10:01 PM I would like to state that though Germans are stereotyped in war movies as sputtering 'achtung', 'jawohl mein herr' and 'schweinhund' and generally being unpleasant to Jews, not all Germans are Nazis. I know of at least one German who is quite tolerant. Unfortunately he emigrated last year to Canada, but that's another matter... |
