NoBody Member Member # 4822	Posted February 24, 2003 03:19 PM Hi all, I got a question in my mind since a certain time now : "how do Germans used to hire people in IT branches (in general in fact) before the German GC scheme ?", I know that for some countries like France, Belgium, and the UK, you can get a work permit and this will allow you to get a working permit which should allow you to apply (directly) for a staying permit (not unlimited, don't get my wrong) and then you can get a working permit, for 1 2 or 3 years, renewable all depending on the company you're in. So how do they was doing ? D.
