Hi, my fiancee is Belgian but I still have to serve 2 years in the military for South Korea before we can really go places with our relationship.
Now if she still decides to stay with me (as we have been together on a distance relationship for a long time now due to university commitments), the possibility of marriage is definately on the table.
Does Belgium have a law where people who have served in a foreign military cannot be naturalized as citizens of Belgium?
I know the US has such a rule, just wondering if Belgium has the same.
