i was wondering if anyone would be able to steer me in the right direction please, does anyone know what the work situation is with regards to employment as a plumbing heating engineer,in spain i have 22 years experiance with full apprentice ship city and guilds gas and oil licensed.

i am a british citizen, what type of visa would i have to get to be able to work in spain.is it difficult to obtain a work permit for spain.

i am currently not working due to injuring my back, lifted a boiler and destroyed several discs,my back now has pins screws wires etc.i am actually classified as disabled

i have been like this for about 2 years,in about 6-7 months hope to be able to return to work but unable to lift anymore

so i was trying to find out are there any type of superviser positions or maybe could do hotel maintenance etc.just wished to find out how difficult it is to get into spain and how hard it is to obtain employment.

many thanks for your time and hope that someone would be so kind to steer me in the right direction.

kindest regards

Being a British citizen, you should not need any permits to work in Spain. As for particular jobs - this board is unlikely to be of much help; you'd be more efficient checking with Spanish employment agencies.
