Joseph/Kaya/TVT/Chess/Cosmo .... many others.

Guys wonder if you are able to get into the UK Forum. It just appears to have died with the other link provided (www.immigrationboards.com) not working...

Cheers

Seems like it - perhaps the traffic became too much. Shame if all the historic posts are deleted/ removed. Many were useful especially for HSMP applicants - maybe a new and improved version to be unveiled .

Yes, at the moment UK section is not working. In next few hours will be available new version of our message board.

Unfortunately we can't copy posts and topics to new system (we copied only users).

I hope that we could repair UK section to view old posts.

New message board address is www.immigrationboards.com

Kaya,

Yesterday, as promised, I called it a day when cable broke 1.8000. This morning I saw my last post at the top and thought it was strange that nobody visited the site after me.

I would be very disappointed if the existing posts are not transferred to the new site. In fact I wanted to copy paste the links on VikB's posts. I am sure you will kindly help. Hope to see you around on the new site.

Regards

Otto,

Thanks for that and let me assure you that this will be a major disappointment for many and I hope that you are able to do your best in transferring the historic posts.

It is not possible to transfer old posts, because for long time this software doesn't work correctly. As you all know search system is not working. Then we decided to use other discussion system - I tried all possible content converters, but they didn't work. (I could copy only users).

I know that this may disappoint some of you, but only we can do is give access to old posts. But I'm not sure that UK section will work - in last night software made serious error and at the moment I'm trying to fix it.

However I promise that soon will be available our new message board and some of you will get additional moderator rights.

Otto,

Thank you for the update on board revision. We are sad to hear the historic posts may be gone but appreciate your efforts in trying to give us access to the 'old' UK board. I am sure the new version with sector/ scheme splits will be a great success and be of much assistance to many who owe their entry and eventual settlement in the UK to discussions on the board. Presumably access to the new site is based on our existing user name/ pw or do we need to re-register?

Kind regards

Kayalami

Yes you could use your username and password, but last backup I made on 16 February and users who registered after that should register again. But all old users can use their existing account details.

When new version will be set up all users will receive notification.

VikB's post was in relation to amalgamating time on HSMP with that as a principle as well as dependent in a status leading to settlement (WP I believe) to get ILR as per para 135G (i) of the immigration rules.

He/she took a printout of the rules to Croydon where the application was referred to a senior caseworker and IRL successfully granted. Documentation submitted was more extensive than normal i.e. bank statements, mortgage deeds, utility bills, wage slips, employment letter etc as it had to include that pertaining to time as a dependent in relation to the marriage subsisting. I also recall VickB stating including a cover letter explaining how he/she believed 135G(i) applied in his/her case.

I am sure I will drop by on the new board and look forward to seeing you there too. Totsiens.

works for me - I've just posted a test message. Your existing un/pw should work.

Thanks Kaya, I will cut past on word now.

And you are lucky, I am still not able to get through to the new board. Can you send me a link to your test post. Possibly I could then get in.

As I said we are setting up new version because old is not working correctly (you can see that we have technical problems with UK section), we are not putting new version with nice images.

I also don't want to loose old posts, but if there is serious error than maybe these posts will be lost.

At the moment we are changing DNS for new domain - this means that some of you can see this website, some will see in next few hours.
