| Trish Junior Member Member # 43 | Posted September 22, 2001 12:00 PM Last November, I applied to immigrate to Australia. Does anyone know if there are any delays in processing? It has now been 11 months with no word from the immigration office and from looking on their website it takes 12 months processing time but I still haven't heard about the police clearance or medicals as of yet. |
| Elfa Member Member # 5 | Posted September 24, 2001 06:36 AM Hi Trish If you applied last November for migration to Australia under the General Skilled category, you should have already been contacted (within one or two months of your application submission) with confirmation of your file number and Skilled Team by the High Commission. If this has not happened, then you should contact the High Commission immediately. If this has happened, I would send a fax to your Skilled Team requesting your medical and police clearance certificates. You should get a response to your fax within a week.
