To whom it may concern,

I have Irish citizenship, and was wondering if this enables me to travel as well as work in New Zealand. Could you please let me know when you have a chance.
Sincerely,
Jeff Meyers

Hi Jeff

As an Irish citizen, you are allowed to travel to New Zealand and work if you meet the following conditions:

The Irish Citizens' working holiday scheme allows 1000 young citizens of the Republic of Ireland annually to be issued with work visas authorising employment for a maximum of 12 months.

Who Can Apply:

To be eligible for a work visa under this scheme, applicants must:

be Irish citizens resident in the Republic Ireland at the time of applying, and
aged between 18 and 30 years, and
not accompanied by any children on your visit.

You should apply to the NZIS in London.

I hope this has been helpful!

Regards,

Elfa
