Lori Junior Member Member # 256 | Posted October 05, 2001 12:13 AM Hi! Has anyone had any experience with the evaluation of foreign accounting designations by either of the two Australian associations? In Canada, we have 3 accredited designations that all fall under the same umbrella with respect to regulations and guidelines but are not necessarily associated with the Australian associations. Thanks for any input! Lori. |
Elfa Member Member # 5 | Posted October 09, 2001 10:52 AM Hi Lori We have successfully handled several accountants' applications and have found that the ICAA are the most helpful, especially if you do not have a degree in accounting but are a member of a chartered accounting organisation. If you would like as assessment of your chances to apply, please complete our Immigration Appraisal form on http://www.workpermit.co.uk/australia/appraisal_form.htm and we will be able to assist you further. All the best, Elfa -------------------- Elfa Kere, Consultant |
