Hi,

I graduated from the dept of English Language Teaching. Do you think I may still be required to provide an IELTS certificate or the diploma I hold would be sufficient to meet the minimum standard of English for the General Skills category of the NZ?

Hi again,

You would probably need to provide the IELTS certificate as your degree in Teaching English would not be sufficient. If your degree was awarded by a University where English is the primary medium of instruction, then you would not have to provide the IELTS certificate.
