Hi,
Hi, I find this board to be a very good site!
I have some questions, I hope someone can help me.
1.) I would like to work in Australia but is it difficult to find companies that sponsers visa's to qualified workers?
2.) Just last week, I asked an employment agency in Sydney about getting a work visa and they told me that I would get 115 points, well above the qualification. But they told me in order for then to process for the visa, I would need to pay US$2000.00, then another US$6000.00 later on. Is this the usual process and the payment price?
3.) Where can I find an Australian company that will consider sponsering foriegn IT employees? I have looked through many want adds that matches my skills, but all of then requires either an AUS working visa, or an AUS citizenship.

Thank you,
Tki

Dear Tki

1) It should not be too difficult to find an IT company to sponsor you in Australia, though many potential employers are unaware of how simple the process is to sponsor ICT Professionals, and are not willing to do so. Workpermit.com can help both you and your Australian employer with the process

2) We would be able to assist you with applying for permanent residency (based on your skills and qualifications, rather than a job offer) for much less than that price! If you are interested in a free assessment of your chances to migrate to Australia as an IT Professional, please complete our form on this website at http://www.workpermit.co.uk/australia/appraisal_form.htm

3) I would try www.sybersolve.com, http://www.mycareer.com.au, for IT related jobs, http://www.itjobs.fairfax.com.au, IT jobs search site, and http://www.jobnet.com.au

I hope this helps!!
