I sent my application off to London office in June. I have been told there is a 12 month wait for the visa. I sent my medical and police clearances off at the same time as it said to do so on the form. I haven't heard of anyone else doing this, but sending them off at a later date. Will this affet my application?

Hi Jackie

This should not adversely affect your application, although the High Commission tends to verify your work experience and qualifications before they look at your medical and police clearance certificates. If it takes longer than six months for them to verify the former documents, then an updated medical and police clearance certificate may be requested, as they would have expired during this time. Applicants are generally requested by the High Commission six to eight months after their applications have been submitted to get the medical and police clearance certificates done.

I hope this helps!

Regards,

Elfa
