nickyd Junior Member Member # 392 | Posted October 19, 2001 10:58 AM Hello All, Myself and my husband are very keen to emmigrate to Oz but don't know quite where to start! I am a 41 yr old hairdresser, but haven't 'officially' worked as one for 12 yrs although I have the relevant proffessional qualifications. Would I be able to nominate this as my proffession when applying to emmigrate? My husband has been in the security/police industry in the past, but we are now both working in customer services. Where do we start, please help! Many thanks. |
jackie Junior Member Member # 296 | Posted October 19, 2001 09:27 PM I am waiting for my visa to be processed at the moment. I am a hairdresser, 36 yrs old. You will have to get references to prove that you have at least 3 years recent work experience. If you would like me to tell you how I went about this, please post me back an email address. I live in Sussex, UK. |

Thanks again for taking the time to reply to me, I look forward to hearing from you. My email address is:nicoladiston@hotmail.com |
Elfa Member Member # 5 | Posted October 22, 2001 04:56 PM Hi Nicky You should probably start by getting an assessment of your chances to actually gain the permanent residency visa for Australia....before you begin the process and spend lots of money and then find out you may not be eligible... Please be advised that if you are interested in an initial assessment on Regards Elfa -------------------- Elfa Kere, Consultant |
