| snicholson Junior Member Member # 758 | Posted November 20, 2001 11:55 PM Stumbled acroos this site, looking for possible encouragement from any 'in the know' people. I am a 29 year old male, married with 2 children aged 2 and 2 months, my trade was verified to be Specialist Electrical (Supervisor), UK title is (Instrument Maintenance Supervisor)we applied for Skilled migration back in November 2000, with around 120 - 125 pts, my family and I are desperate to find out the outcome as many will know our lives are on hold pending the decision, when contacting the Oz consolate in London they state the current processing time is 15 months. So obviously this will take us to Feb 2002. I know the final decision will come from there but it would be of interest to hear of any similar stories of applicants who are currently going through or have gone through this torturous waiting game. Incidentally we hope to settle in the Perth / Joondalup region, family ties. Look forward to any response. Steve |
