Elfa Member Member # 5 | Posted November 29, 2001 10:53 AM Hi Ravi Your situation sounds somewhat complicated but I think I could briefly touch upon some of the points here on the message board. If you have further queries please contact me on australia@workpermit.com Applying for a visa for Australia should not conflict with applying for a visa for the UK. You will probably need to apply for a Long-Stay Temporary Business Visa under the Independent Executive category on the basis of starting a business in Australia. This would allow you to reside in and manage your company in Australia for up to four years, with an option to apply for permanent residency if your business in successful. You will need to invest at least AUD$250,000 in the business. For further details I suggest you look at our website or contact me directly. Regards Elfa -------------------- Elfa Kere, Consultant |
