sachin Junior Member Member # 1182	Posted December 21, 2001 09:53 PM hello everybody, my name is sachin. i have completed my bachelor of engineering in computer science in aug 2001. at present i am working in my field in a software company. i am fron india. i am intrested in immigrating to Australia or NZ. i have several questions. 1.what will be more benifitial?working here in india for 2/3 years and applying for immigration or getting admission for IT course in Australia and then applying? 2.I have IELTS band( accademic) of 6.5 Immigration requires general IELTS. Do i need to reappear for IELTS? or accedemic module can work? 3.How long the rules will continue?it should not happen to my fortune that i work here for 2 years and rules of immigration change and i will get difficult/impossible for me to apply. or i come there for education and rules change and i will have to come back to india? 4.What is the process fees 5.what is the processing time on average? 6.I have part time experience of 5 months in software company and full time working in software company from 1 july 2001 till date. am i eligible? 7.What is difference between immigration and getting Permanent residency? 8.if i study in australia,can i apply for immigration in NZ or vise versa? 9.how is the job market for IT professionals in Aus/NZ ? please suggest me the answers of all questions. thank you in advance. sachin

You should apply as soon as you become eligible to apply.In plain english you should start the process of getting your stuff together when you have an experience of 10 months. hello everybody,

Hi Sachin
