Hello,

While I was browsing Australian Immigration Website http://www.immi.gov.au/allforms/skl-cost.htm it had the following for skill matching:

Skill Matching only

If you are applying only for Skill Matching, you will be required to pay an initial fee of $155 when you lodge your visa application. This fee covers the initial processing of your application to ensure you are eligible for inclusion in the Department's skill matching database.

If you are subsequently nominated by either a State/Territory government or an employer, you will be required to pay the visa application charge of $1 125. In addition, you will also be required to pay an English language charge of $2 380 for every dependent over the age of 18 who is assessed as not having a function level of English. You must also pay any other charges incurred in meeting the requirements for this visa. However, if you are not nominated within two years, your application will be refused and you will not be required to pay any additional charges.

I would like to know:
- This process takes how long or it worth applying?
- If an Austrlian employer makes a job offer to me other than those in the database, can I still process thru' skill matching?
- After being nominated, what is the time period of application to get processed?
