I am a registered Canadian Cardiac technician looking to work in Australia. I cannot find my occupation on the list but there is a "medical lab. technical officer" which may be close. I can't seem to access the apprasial form on your website. I'm not sure as to if I need just a WHV or a work permit as I want to be able to do locum work and travel around the country. any suggestions?

Hi

It sounds like your best option at the moment is to get a Working Holiday Visa for Australia, which would allow you to work for up to three months at a time for an Australian employer, and allows you to travel as well for up to 12 months total.

Please contact me on australia@workpermit.com for more details on WHV requirements and for details of our services as regards to this type of application.

Best regards

Elfa
