Hi ,

I was looking at the Skill matching category and I couldn't understand :
If there is an employer that wish to hire me then my visa will be approved and I will be able to work and stay in Australia ?
Does it have to be the same job description as in my Skill matching ? How long does it take to be approved ?
Do you have more details regarding the type and definition of the employer ?

Thanks for your help

Hi Haifa

If an employer selects your CV from the Skills matching database then he can sponsor you for a Long-Stay Temporary Business Visa, which would allow you to work in Australia for that employer for up to four years. He might even be able to sponsor you for permanent residency if he lives in a Designated Area of Australia. Yes, the employer who will potential employ you needs to offer you a position similar to the job description you provide on the application. The application only takes a few weeks to be "approved" but this does not guarantee you a job - this just means that your CV will be placed in a database available to potential employers. All Australian government and certain Designated Area and Pre-Sponsored employers have access to this skill matching database.

Hope this answers your questions!

Dear Elfa,

Thanks for your help and answer .

One more question if possible ?

What will happen after the four years ? Can I change to another employee at the middle ?

Is it possible to have the Skill independent application as well at the same time being assess ?

Thanks in advance .

Kobi
