I hold an MBA degree from a top American business school and have 3 years of investment banking experience in New York and London. I am having trouble finding the right 60-point category to fit my qualifications because the MBA degree is so flexible. I was thinking of Finance Manager, do you know if the relevant Australian institution would consider this combination of degree/experience aceptable? Many thanks!

Hi

I think your best bet is to go through any other assessing authority besides AIM (Australian Institute of Managers) as it is very difficult to obtain a suitable assessment of your skills from that assessing authority - I would try to go for Finance Manager through the ICAA as long as your undergrad degree was in a relevant field (i.e. Accounting, Finance, Econ, etc.)

Hope this helps!
