hi Elfa
thanks one one question.
Since my wife is a dependent does she have to take the English test in order to avoid the payment of the second installment. She has a bachelor degree from bombay india from an English medium college. If she does not have to take the IETLS what documents does she need to provide to prove her ability to speak english will he degree and mark sheets do. How long after one submits the application does the consulate ask for documents. I've noticed that the list of documents asked for is not that much. You dont even have to send copies of ones passport with the application 47SK do you?
thanks again

Hi again Nas

I think I covered the first part of your question in my previous posting, but in response to the second part regarding when the documents should be submitted, you should try to submit them with your initial application. Otherwise, the Consulate might take MONTHS to request further documentation. But if you are applying for Skilled Migration you do not apply to the Consulate anyway and rather to DIMA in Adelaide (Skilled Centre). And finally, no, you do not need to submit passport copies with your application.

Regards

Elfa
