Hi everybody-
I will soon have a Master of Arts in Mass Communication from a US university. I am interested in working in Australia, and through the self-assessment points form I have 110 points. I am wondering, however, will I need to have a job offer before going to Australia? And if so, how can I find a job there? I have been searching and many of the listings that I find require candidates with either Australian citizenship or permanent residence already. Can somebody tell me of any job boards that target non-Australian citizens?
Looking forward to any advice!

hello,

My advise is to contact a migrationbureau.
The rules for applications are very strict.
If you have indeed 110 points you don't need a job. www.migration.com

HI

You don't need to contact migrationbureau but you could contact Workpermit.com! If you are just finishing a MA degree, it is unlikely you will meet the recent work experience requirement. If your nominated occupation is worth 50 points, this means that you must have worked in skilled employment for at least 2 of the 3 years before applying for the PR visa. If your nominated occupation is worth 60 points, you must have worked in skilled employment for at least 12 of the 18 months before applying.

For information on our terms and conditions of service, please contact me on australia@workpermit.com

Hope this helps!
