Bahadur Basanti Junior Member Member # 405 | Posted February 20, 2002 09:12 AM Hi sarat The best way out is to come as a student,do a postgraduate diploma and apply for PR.You can work for 20 hr. a week and full time during holidays. After you complete your diploma you can immediately apply for PR and you do not have to show any experience. For more details visit www.immi.gov.au Regards Bahadur Singh Basanti basanti@webfront.net.au |

nitinparwal Junior Member Member # 1899 | Posted February 20, 2002 01:28 PM Hi Sarat, Take a self assessment test that workpermit.com has it on its site and you should be able to find it out for yourself if you are eligible or not. Also if your skills are in demand in Australia, you might qualify for a PR even if you don't have any work experience. Good Luck. Nitin. |
Bahadur Basanti Junior Member Member # 405 | Posted February 21, 2002 05:24 AM Hi Sarat You must show 12 months experience in any skilled occupation in the period of 18 months immediately before the day on which application is made.No body is eligible to bypass the experience requirement.
