Can anyone tell me, if a visa is denied at the interview because of missing documentation, can I submit that missing doc via post instead of catching another flight to london.

What visa did you apply for i.e. immigrant/non immigrant, what is your current US status, which country did you apply for visa and what is your nationality. Board need this details to answer because there may be issue concerning visa revalidation based on natioanlity and US status. If its non immigrant B1/B2 visa then it was refused under sec 214(g) of INA - submission of 'suitable' additional evidence or requirement to attend interview may result in visa being issued. Note that if you were inadmissible after interview you were not eligible to enter the US on VWP - we need more info dude/gal .
