One UK born boy & one Pakistan born girl for CITIZENSHIP

Dear friends,

My acquaintance got 2 weeks ago Settlement on 6 years DLR route. My question is: his one son born here in 2012 & girl born in 2010 in Pakistan and both now got settlement bio-matric cards, can they apply british citizenship or will apply with parents next year in Apr (28 days before).

UK born child yes, can apply now

Child born abroad can apply when parents apply.
