Online ILR (Set O) Application: Question confirmation

Hi Everyone,

I have almost completed my application but still have a few doubts which I'm thinking of confirming with you before submitting the application.

Background:
Entered UK on Tier 2 dependent Visa: 12th Oct 2016
Switched to Tier 2 (Skilled worker) Visa: 11th Feb 2019 - Application is based upon this date
Eligible to apply for ILR: 15th Jan 2024 onwards

1. Since you first entered the UK, have you had any absences from the UK?
Since I first entered UK on 12th Oct 2016 so should I have to provide an absence from Oct 2016 onwards or should it be after 11th Feb 2019 which I'm using for this application for 5-year route?

Currently, I have provided details of absences after 11th Feb 2019. Correct as this is the date current application qualifying period is based on.

2. What is your sponsor licence number as shown on your Certificate of Sponsorship?
The last time I got a visa renewal in Feb 2022 from company X and post that it was bought by another company Y which became my new employer and transferred my Visa to themselves.

As in my last COS at the time of Visa renewal, I have got a sponsor licence number for old Company X but my current employer is Company Y, so whose licence number should I provide?

Currently, I'm providing the licence number for the existing employer Company Y.

Do I need to provide a Cover letter for the above bits? Letter or note clarifying this could be helpful to your application.
