Online Irish citizenship - no acknowledgement email after submitting application

Hi guys,

I applied for the Irish citizenship through the online portal 3 days ago and did not get the instant acknowledgement email they mention we get after application has been submitted and paid for.

Should I contact someone about this?

Similar issue. Applied for two minors last Monday, with a difference of like 10 minutes in submission time. I received the acknowledgment email/number for one application within an hour, but it's already a week since I'm waiting for the second one. Any hints at what to do? Thanks!

Some people are saying is due to a possible backlog after Christmas/ New years. But the fact you received it for one application and not for the other, makes me think an issue might be going on.

I raised a query through the Citizenship email address. No idea on what else to do.

Got an acknowledgement today (9th day after the application).
