online vs in person applications made abroad

Post by ginoT » Wed Mar 03, 2010 8:16 pm

trying to get my parents-in-law to come over and visit (through Moscow application centre) and noticed there is no information on how to submit in person. There's just some about how You should submit 1 online visa application for each individual applying for a visa

Can't we just print off the application, fill it out with pen & paper and simply turn up at the application centre to submit it instead? Old school style.
don't like online application forms.

Of course you can apply in person at the VFS office in Moscow.

Here the form you need
http://www.ukvisas.gov.uk/resources/en/ ... 3073/VAF1B.

You can complete it here and send it off to your in laws to sign it and then hand it in

You will need to send a sponsorship letter/declaration ( like the one I have done in my sticky post here on this forum)

You (as sponsor)will need to send employment letter , bank statements and accommodation report to confirm you can support them during their stay.

Hope this helps
