Opening a New Bank account

Hi All,

I have to open a bank account with HSBC Bank. I don't have any address proof document.

I have the following documents

1. Passport for Photo proof

2. Company letter saying residence address and complete details
about my work permit and my office address in UK.

Is it enough to open a account with HSBC bank.

Any proof of overseas address other than the address on your passport? Like a bank statement or a bill? They will in all probability ask for it. I had to ask my brother to fax my bank statement which was accepted by them here.
