B(OTA) online or paper form

Query on B(OTA) please

Relevant details
-naturalized as BOTC (Certificate of naturalization)
-applying to register as British citizen via form B(OTA)

Can I apply online or must it be by post (paper form) and sent to Governor of BOTC and/or UK visa and immigration address? Online will be quicker process so would like to bypass the paper form if possible.

Where do you live? I think if an applicant is living in the Channel Islands, Isle of Man or a British Overseas Territory, then the paper form is mandatory. Elsewhere, an applicant may apply online?
