Indian passport for baby of British father and Indian mother

I'm a recently naturalised British citizen. My wife holds an Indian passport and UK dependent visa. She is currently in India for delivery. We've decided to apply for Indian passport for the baby and then apply for RoA. After going through the forum threads, I have a good idea about the documents required for RoA application.

Can someone please tell me what documents are required for Indian passport application?

I'll be in India for a limited time during delivery and hoping to get the birth certificate and apply for passport during my stay. Will they ask for my British passport or the surrender certificate of Indian passport or naturalisation certificate? Any help is highly appreciated.
