Indian passport renewal and change of address in UK

Hi,

I am applying for a passport renewal as the expiry date is nearing and also the indian address in the passport is not valid anymore.

Problem is I want to change the address but I don't have a permanent address in India now.

My husbands passport has the address which is now being rented so can I use my father in law's address and provide his aadhar card as proof ? This is so that no issues occur during police verification.

If there is an alternative then let me know.
