OCI application for new born- Dont have original Marriage Certificate

Hi All,

I want to apply OCI for my new born. I and my wife has Indian passport.

Unfortunately my Original Marriage certificate is in India. Is it possible to submit a photo copy?

They wanted to see our original marriage certificate. Although ours was not an Indian marriage certificate, so perhaps it will be different in your case. I wouldn't hold your breath though :/

NP. Probably for the best. Plus if youre planning to be here for a while you may well need it in the future anyway.
