OCI Appt

Hi we are looking for urgent OCI appt. There are none in London. Are we able to book an appt in other areas like Belfast or Edinburgh etc or wont be accepted as post code is in London?

You can book appointment in any jurisdiction. Only point to note is that you fill the form for that jurisdiction. For example : if you are from London but have appointment available in Birmingham, in your application choose jurisdiction as Birmingham and not London even though you are resident of London. Thank you for your reply. We have booked appt in October in Belfast now, it is thou exactly week before we travel

I wanted to know if you have any idea. if we keep checking , will any new appts come and if so will the system allow us to book it? (as we have an appt in place)

Because it will be good we are thinking if there were some more days between appt and travel

You can get lucky and find an appointment near by. However, you can only book another appointment when the existing one is cancelled. You cannot cancel it yourself. Instead, you have to mail HCI (email id on their appointments page). As per experience of many in this board it takes days to cancel or never gets cancelled at all.
