OCI card: No marriage certificate

Hello,

I'm applying for an OCI card and have my surrender certificate and British passport (through Naturalisation).

However, I've lost my original marriage certificate, but I do have a photocopy. I'm applying as a solo applicant for OCI. Is it necessary to submit the original marriage certificate for self-application?
