Could you also please confirm if this is the same for Indian as well British Passport?

For the purpose of OCI application just the photo copy of the personal information page of the british/foreign passport is required and the observation page.
Also need to include Indian passport surrender certificate. No photocopy of the old passport is required.

Hi All,

I plan to submit my OCI Application in person next week, as I am told it will be quicker then posting it. Just wanted to check the documents required when submitting in person and also had a question regarding non-english/hindi marriage certificate:

Self:
1. Two sets of completed form Part A and Part B.
2. Copy of Surrender certificate.
3. Copy of Certificate of Naturalisation.
4. Copy of British Passport.

Spouse:
1. Two sets of completed form Part A and Part B.
2. Copy of Surrender certificate.
3. Copy of Certificate of Naturalisation.
4. Copy of British Passport.

Child:
1. Two sets of completed form Part A and Part B.
2. Copy of British Passport.
3. Copy of Full UK Birth Certificate.
4. Copy of Parents Marriage Certificate. (Non English/Hindi)

My child was born in India, but since parents were already British citizens, child's first passport was British (British by descent).
1. Where can i get an english translation of the marriage certificate authorised? Can this be done at a notary in the UK or a notary in INdia? or does it have to be done at the MInistry of Home affairs?
2. Do we need copies of expired/cancelled Indian passports for self + spouse.
3. Do we need to carry the Originals for all the above documents.
4. Do i need any other documents
