Just wanted to know, what is the best time to arrive to get a token to collect an OCI card? If someone comes later in the morning is there a chance they will get turned away?

My status is as above.

OCI not printed yet - seems like a printer problem in Delhi?

@treetrunk --- same thing with me as well.
registration granted on 5th feb but documents not yet printed. i mailed them they said there were delays coz of some problem with the printers in delhi

Same here 5 February granted. Still not printed . Have emailed them at Delhi they reply very quickly that there is technical issues. Will sort out this week and will be dispatched.

Hi,
I applied on OIC by post to B'ham and acknowledged by 08/01/13. I noticed that status is "Photo - Scanned" and registration status is "under process". Any suggestion - how long it will take?

I sent my OCI application by post on 1st Feb and still haven't had the acknowledgement. This is a painfully slooooooow process.

I am in same boat, Sent my application on 4th Feb, Not yet acknowledged, What a pain , one of the worst high commission/embassy. Tried calling them but no response.

Hi,

Anyone has any idea how many days it takes to change status from "GRANTED" to "PRINTED" ?

Is there any problem with printing at NEW DELHI ? Is there an issue with my PHOTO ? OR delay is very normal ?

My Status today is as below:

Registration Status at Mission : Granted on 04-MAR-2013
Documents Printing Status: On

Also I am planning to travel to India on 13 Mar 2013 and seems getting 6 months visa is option. Does anyone know how many days it takes to get 6 months visa ( thinking of applying in person to VFS Goswell Road)

Any help would be really appreciated.
